Venice in Peril
Venice in Peril is a registered British charity that works for the safeguarding
of Venice, by restoration and by research into its ecological problems.
It was founded after the great flood of 1966 and since then has restored
over 25 monuments and works of art in the city. It works as part of the
international association of private committees for Venice, which has
the status of a Non-Governmental Organisation in operational relations
with UNESCO.
